Browsholme Hall wedding photography, Lancashire

Kimberley and Mike’s wedding at Browsholme Hall and Tithe Barn, Lancashire

I’d been looking forward to Kimberley and Mike’s big day for ages, they are such a lovely, cool, chatty couple who I just hit it off with right away.  Couple that with Browsholme Hall being one of Lancashire’s most beautiful wedding venue’s, I knew it was going to be a brilliant day and a great laugh - it was!

What’s more, I was working with my friends Roland and Lisa of the most excellent RTP wedding films.

As one of my favourite venues, Browsholme Hall offers a stunning backdrop for anyone getting married at any time of year surrounded in Lancashire countryside just on the outskirts of Clitheroe and Whalley.

Bridal preparations

Kimberley and her bridesmaids got ready in the main hall of the huge historic house. It has a stunning room packed with original features and huge windows which make taking natural creative images a photographers dream.

Tithe barn wedding ceremony and reception

The ceremony was held at the Tithe Barn, a rustic, traditional barn made of real Lancashire stone where pockets of natural light burst through the walls and the fairy lights among the wooden beamed ceiling makes the venue feel cosy, romantic and intimate.

The rest of the day was filled with many a belly laugh and people having a good time all day long – these are the images and special moments I want people to remember from their weddings – the unexpected, natural moments that tell the story of their day.

Natural and unposed wedding photography

After the wedding breakfast, Kimberley and Mike went for a stroll through the stunning grounds, along the woodland paths and gardens towards the quaint lake and boat house for some relaxed couple shots in the glistening, golden light that came out right on cue.

It was such an amazing wedding. Lovely people who don’t take themselves or life too seriously, having a laid back, chilled wedding with their favourite people around them. A huge congratulations again to them both!! x
