Contract

The contract sets out all terms and conditions set out between David Scholes Photography and the client. Any amendments to this
contract must be set out in writing and agreed by both parties.

RESERVATION: Upon receipt of this signed contract and booking fee, David Scholes will reserve the time and date agreed upon, and will not make other reservations for that time and date. The booking fee is applied towards the contracted wedding photography package. The client agrees that the entire amount owed for the wedding photography package described in the contract MUST BE PAID AND CLEARED 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE WEDDING DATE.

ARTISTIC STYLE: David Scholes Photography has been booked for his creative ability and flair. The client grants license in relation to the
choice of locations and poses used. David Scholes Photography’s judgement on photographic style and the number of images taken shall be deemed correct, due to changes of weather and the availability and willingness of subjects. David Scholes Photography will do his best to honour requested photographs but does not guarantee any specific picture nor incorporate any specific background, location or group arrangement. David Scholes is limited by the guidelines of the ceremony official and the reception site management. The client agrees to accept the technical results of their imposition on the photographer. Negotiation with the officials for moderation of
guidelines is the clients responsiblity, David Scholes will offer technical recommendations only.

UNEDITED WORK: David Scholes Photography will not deliver any raw images or footage to the client. Only the final, edited images
will be delivered to the client at the photographer’s discretion. Photos will be edited at the photographer’s discretion and final delivery will not include every photo taken.

DELIVERY: David Scholes Photography will do his upmost best to deliver all images within 6-8 weeks of the wedding. However during very busy periods (particularly May-September) and incase of illness, this could take anything up to 12 weeks.

COPYRIGHTS: The work created by David Scholes Photography during the event constitutes the copyrighted work of the
photographer. The work at all times shall remain the property of the photographer. Any portion of the work delivered to the client is for the client’s personal use only. The client may not sell or reproduce, nor authorise the sale or reproduction for profit of any portion of the images without David Scholes Photography’s written consent.

RELEASE: As owner of the copyright of all the images, David Scholes Photography will use at its own discretion, any or all images for
portfolio and promotion. This will include but not limited to the website, personal blog and social media sites such as Facebook,
Instagram and Google. David Scholes Photography also submits to wedding magazines and blogs although the client will be contacted if your wedding is due to be published.

FORCE MAJEURE: In the unlikely event of total photographic failure, technology failure, injury or sickness beyond control, David Scholes
Photography’s liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid. Every effort will be made to find an alternative and suitable
replacement photographer. Should the client cancel, as compensation for loss of income, the following charges apply as a percentage of the TOTAL fee due 60 days or less prior to event date - 100%, 61-90 days prior to event date - 75%, 91-120 days prior to event date - 50%. More than 121 days prior to event date - booking fee/deposit. Should the cancellation turn into postponement of the wedding then subject to availability, all money paid may be applied to the new date.

PRIVACY: David Scholes Photography will store your name and wedding details on a private internal database. These details will not be
made available to companies or individuals outside of David Scholes Photography. Should the client wish to have details removed from the database, please advise in writing.
